HUBUNGAN ANTARA MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI DENGAN KESIAPAN MEMASUKI DUNIA KERJA PADA REMAJA DI PANTI SOSIAL BINA REMAJA YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja pada remaja PSBR Yogyakarta. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala. Subyek penelitian ini sebanyak 38 remaja PSBR.Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan skala motivasi berprestasi dan skala kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja pada remaja PSBR. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,530 dan p = 0,001 (p<0,05) dan angka 0,05 merupakan taraf signifikan. Artinya semakin tinggi motivasi berprestasi maka semakin tinggi kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja, begitupun sebaliknya. Hasil korelasi antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja merupakan kategori sedang, nilai determinasi sebesar 0, 281 yang berarti bahwa motivasi berprestasi memberikan sumbangan efektif pada kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja sebesar 28,1% dan terdapat 71, 9% disebabkan variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract The aim of this research was to identify the relationship between achievement motivation with readiness to enter work fieldof teenagers in PSBR Yogyakarta. The approach used in this research was the quantitative approach with correlational research type. Scale was used as data collection technique. The subjects in this researchwere 38 teenagers of PSBR. Data collection instruments usedin this researchwere achievement motivation scale and readiness to enter work field scale. The result of this research shows that there is positive and significant relationship between achievement motivation and readiness to enter work fieldof teenagers in PSBR. It is shown by the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.530 and p = 0.0001 (p < 0.05) and the number of significant level is 0.05. It means that the higher the achievement motivation is, the higher the readiness to enter work field will be, or vice versa. The correlation between achievement motivation with readiness to enter work field is inmedium category. In which the value of determination 0,281 can be interpreted that achievement motivation contributed effectively around 28.1% to readiness to enter work field. However, there is 71.9% left due to other variables that are not discussed in this research.
