KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA SMK KELAS XII JURUSAN PERIKANAN DI SMK NEGERI 2 PURBALINGGA

Abstract



Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII Jurusan Agribisnis Perikanan dilihat dari aspek responsibility, flexibility, skills, communication, self view, heallt & safety. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini 50 siswa kelas XII Jurusan Agribisnis Perikanan SMK Negeri 2 Purbalingga. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala, Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala kesiapan kerja. Validitas item instrumen dengan menggunakan Korelasi Product Moment dari Karl Pearson dan diperoleh 42 item valid. Angka korelasi validitas item bergerak dari 0,314 sampai 0,470. Reliabilitas instrumen dengan menggunakan Alpha Cronbach dan diperoleh angka reliabilitas 0,851. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan kerja siswa dalam kategori siap, yang ditunjukkan dari persentase 58%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa siap untuk memasuki dunia kerjanya. Kesiapan kerja siswa juga dapat terlihat dari beberapa aspek, yaitu: (1) responsibility, tergolong siap dengan persentase sebesar 66%, yang artinya siswa memiliki kesiapan dalam tanggung jawab, (2) flexibility tergolong siap persentase sebesar 56%, yang artinya siswa memiliki kesiapan dalam kemampuan daya tahan, (3) skills tergolong siap dengan persentase sebesar 56%, yang artinya siswa memiliki kesiapan dalam kemampuan dan keahlian yang akan mereka bawa kedalam situasi kerja baru, (4) communication tergolong tidak siap dengan persentase sebesar 56%, yang artinya siswa masih belum menguasai kemampuan berkomunikasi guna mendukung terciptanya hubungan interpersonal di tempat kerja, (5) self view tergolong tidak siap dengan persentase sebesar 60%, yang artinya siswa belum mampu memandang dirinya dalam situasi kerja,(6) heallt & safety tergolong siap dengan persentase sebesar 60%, yang artinya siswa memahami pentingnya kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja.

Abstract
This research was aimed to know the work readiness of XII grade students of Fisheries Agribusiness Subject viewed from responsibility, flexibility, skills, communication, personal view, health, and safety aspects. This research used a quantitative approach. The research subjects were 50 of XII grade students of Fisheries Agribusiness Subject of State Vocational High School (SMKN) 2 of Purbalingga. The data gathering method in this research used scale, Instrument used was work readiness scale. The instrument item validity used a Product Moment Correlation from Karl Pearson and obtained 42 valid items. The item validity correlation number moved from 0.314 to 0.470. The instrument reliability used an Alpha Cronbach and obtained reliability number of 0.851. Data obtained was analyzed using in descriptive percentage way. The research results showed that student work readiness was in ready category that was shown from percentage of 58%. This showed that most of students were ready to enter their work world. Student work readiness was also seen from various aspects namely: (1) responsibility was in ready classification with percentage of 66% meant that the students had a readiness in their responsibilities, (2) flexibility was in ready condition percentage of 56% meant that the students had a readiness in endurance ability, (3) skills was in ready condition with percentage of 56% meant that the students had the students had a readiness in ability and competence that they would bring into a new work situation, (4) communication was classified in not ready condition with percentage of 56% meant that the students had not mastered communication ability to support interpersonal relationship in their workplace, (5) personal view was classified in not ready with percentage of 60% meant that the students had not viewed themselves in work situation, (6) health & safety was in ready condition with percentage of 60% meant that the students understood the importance of work health and safety.
