HUBUNGAN ANTARA EFIKASI DIRI DENGAN STRES AKADEMIK PADA SISWA KELAS XI DI MAN 3 YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan stres akademikpada siswa kelas XI di MAN 3 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik korelasional. Keseluruhan subjek berjumlah 136 orang.Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan proporsionalrandom sampling.Alat pengumpulan data berupa skala efikasi diri dan skala stres akademik. Analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi sederhana dengan program SPSS 17.00 for Windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan stres akademikpada siswa kelas XI di MAN 3 Yogyakarta. Hal iniditunjukkan koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar -0,495 dan p = 0.000 (p <0.05). Sumbangan efektif dari efikasi diriterhadap stres akademiksebesar 24,5%, dengan demikian sumbangan sebesar 75,5% berasal dari faktor lain.

Abstract
This research aimed to examine the correlation between self-efficacy and academic stress of the grade XI students at MAN 3 Yogyakarta. This research used quantitative approach with correlational technique. The subjects were 136 students in number. Proportional random sampling was used as the sampling technique. Self-efficacy scale and academic stress scale were used to collect the data. The data were analyzed using simple regression technique of SPSS 17.00 for Windows. The result showed that there was a negative and significant correlation between self-efficacy and academic stress on the students of grade XI at MAN 3 Yogyakarta. This correlation was indicated by the coefficient (r) -0,495 with p = 0.000 (p<0.05). Besides, the research also found out that the effective contribution of self-efficacy to academic stress was 24,5%, while the rest 75,5%, came from other factors.
