HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENYESUAIAN DIRI DI SEKOLAH DENGAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI PADA SISWA KELAS X MAN 1 KOTA MAGELANG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penyesuaian diri di sekolah dengan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kota Magelang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan jenis korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kota Magelang yang berjumlah 201 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan skala penyesuaian diri di sekolah dan skala kepercayaan diri. Analisis data dengan menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara penyesuaian diri di sekolah dengan kepercayaan diri pada siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kota Magelang dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,568 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05). Semakin tinggi penyesuaian diri di sekolah, maka semakin tinggi kepercayaan dirinya, dan sebaliknya semakin rendah penyesuaian diri di sekolah maka semakin rendah kepercayaan dirinya. Sumbangan efektif penyesuaian diri di sekolah terhadap kepercayaan diri adalah sebesar 32,26%, sedangkan sumbangan sebesar 67,74% berasal dari faktor lain.

Abstract
The purpose of the research was to identify the correlation between personal adjustment at the school and self confidence on 10th grade students of MAN 1 Magelang City. This research was a correlational research. The subjects of the research were 10th grade students of MAN 1 Magelang City, they are 201 students. Samples was taken by proportional random sampling technique. This research used two scale of data collection technique, they were personal adjustment at the school scale and self confidence scale. Data was analyzed by product moment correlation. The result of the research discovered that there was a positive correlation between personal adjustment at the school and self confidence on 10th grade students of MAN 1 Magelang City which had correlated coefficient about 0.568 and 0,000 signification (p<0,05). If personal adjustment at the school increase, self conficence will be increase too and if personal adjustment at the school decrease, self confidence will be decrease too. Based on this result, self-regulated learning gave influence to academic anxiety about 32,26% while the number of 67,74 gotten from the other factors.
