UPAYA MENINGKATKAN MINAT KEWIRAUSAHAAN MELALUI DISKUSI KELOMPOK PADA SISWA KELAS XI SMK NEGERI I SANDEN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat kewirausahaan pada siswa kelas XI di SMKN I Sanden melalui metode diskusi kelompok.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI di SMKN I Sanden. Subjek dalam penelitian ini 8 siswa, pengambilan subjek dilakukan secara purposive sampling (sample bertujuan), dari siswa kelas XI diberikan pre-test dan didapat delapan siswa yang yang dikatagorikan minat kewirausahaannya rendah. Delapan siswa inilah yang dijadikan subyek penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala minat kewirausahaan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat kewirausahaan dapat ditingkatkan melalui diskusi kelompok. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil perbandingan antara hasil pre-test dengan hasil post-test dan dari setiap siklus yang mengalami peningkatan sangat signifikan. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan rata-rata 38,25%, setelah dilakukan tindakan menunjukkan hasil post-test mengalami peningkatan menjadi 82,75%. Hasil dari setiap siklus sudah menunjukan peningkatan yaitu di dalam siklus pertama siswa yang awalnya masih pasif sudah terliah aktif dalam siklus kedua. Sikap siswa yang masih ramai sendiri dan belum terkondisikan dengan baik dalam siklus kedua siswa sudah terkondisikan dengan baik , siswa lebih tenang tidak ada siswa yang bergurau atau pun bermain sendiri,siswa lebih memperhatikan apa yang disampaikan oleh guru pembimbing. Dalam siklus kedua juga diadakan permainan “make something beautiful” siswa telah mampu membuat barang dari koran bekas, dan dapat menyumbangkan ide kreatif dan saling bekerja sama. Teknik diskusi kelompok dapat meningkatkan minat kewirausahaan.

ABSTRACT
The recent research is aimed at improving the entrepreneurship interest among the year nine students of SMKN I Sanden through group discussion method. The recent research is an action research involving the year nine students of SMKN I Sanden.
The subjects consisted of 8 students, determined by purposive sampling. Of the nine graders whom were subjected to pretest, 8 students were indicated to have low interest of entrepreneurship . The students with low interest of entrepreneurship were requested to be the subjects of the research. The data collecting was obtained through observation, interview and documentation, while the instrument used was the scale of entrepreneurship interest.
The research indicated that the entrepreneurship interest could be improved through group discussion. This could be seen from the comparison between the pretest and post-test results and from the cycles which underwent the significant improvement. The pretest result indicated that the average was 38.25%, and after being subjected to treatment , the result of the post-test was higher , namely 82.75%. The results of the cycles indicated that the students who were passive in the initial condition began to be active in the second cycle. The indifferent students or those who were poorly conditioned showed far better condition in the second cycle and more cooperative. These students were more attentive to the mentor. The second cycle also involved “make something beautiful”. The students enabled to create stuff from the newspaper and to contribute the creative idea as well as to cooperate with others. The group discussion technique thus could improve the interest in the entrepreneurship.
