PENGARUH BULLYING VERBAL TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN MENJALIN HUBUNGAN PERTEMANAN PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP N 4 WATES

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bullying verbal terhadap keputusan menjalin hubungan pertemanan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 4 Wates. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantiatif korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari satu variabel terhadap variabel lain. Responden penelitian sejumlah 115 siswa pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 4 Wates yang berusia 13-15 tahun. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai t_hitung sebesar 2,672 > t_{tabel (0,05)(113)} sebesar 1,661, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh antara bullying verbal terhadap keputusan menjalin hubungan pertemanan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 4 Wates. Intensitas siswa yang pernah mendapatkan pengalaman bullying verbal pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 4 Wates memiliki kategori tinggi sebesar 18 siswa dengan persentase 16%, kategori sedang sebesar 76 siswa dengan persentase 66% dan pada kategori rendah sebesar 21 siswa dengan persentase  sebesar 18%. Keputusan menjalin hubungan pertemanan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 4 Wates sebesar 62 siswa dengan persentase 54% memutuskan berteman dengan pelaku bullying verbal dan sebesar 53 siswa dengan persentase  46% memutuskan tidak berteman dengan pelaku bullying verbal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of verbal bullying on decisions to establish friendships in class VIII students of SMP N 4 Wates. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach which aims to determine the effect of one variable on another variable. The research respondents were 115 students in the eighth grade students of SMP N 4 Wates, aged 13-15 years. The data analysis technique uses hypothesis testing with a significant level of 5%.  The results showed that the value of t_count was 2.672> t table (0.05) (113) of 1.661, thus it can be concluded that there was an influence between verbal bullying on the decision to establish friendships in class VIII SMP N 4 Wates. The intensity of students who have experienced verbal bullying in class VIII of SMP N 4 Wates has a high category of 18 students with a percentage of 16%, a moderate category of 76 students with a percentage of 66% and a low category of 21 students with a percentage of 18%. The decision to establish friendships with class VIII students of SMP N 4 Wates was 62 students with a percentage of 54% deciding to be friends with verbal bullying and 53 students with a percentage of 46% decided not to be friends with verbal bullying.
