HUBUNGAN ANTARA KECERDASAN ADVERSITY DENGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PADA SISWA KELAS XI DI SMK N 1 KALASAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui adanya hubungan antara kecerdasan adversity dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa kelas XI di SMK N 1 Kalasan. 2) Mengetahui tingkat kecerdasan adversity siswa kelas XI di SMK N 1 Kalasan. 3) Mengetahui tingkat motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI di SMK N 1 Kalasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik penelitian korelasi. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 190 siswa, menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dan padat. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kecerdasan adversity dan skala motivasi belajar. Skala kecerdasan adversity mempunyai reliabilitas sebesar 0,882, sedangkan skala motivasi belajar memiliki reliabilitas sebesar 0,841. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat hubungan positif antara kecerdasan adversity dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa kelas XI di SMK N 1 Kalasan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,148. 2) Sebagian besar siswa kelas XI di SMK N 1 Kalasan memiliki tingkat kecerdasan adversity sedang yaitu sebanyak 124 siswa atau 65,3 %. 3) Sebagian besar siswa kelas XI di SMK N 1 Kalasan memiliki tingkat motivasi belajar sedang, yaitu sebanyak 129 siswa atau 67,9%. Hasil koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa variabel kecerdasan adversity memberi sumbangan efektif terhadap variabel motivasi belajar sebesar 2,2 % dan selebihnya sebesar 97,8 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

 

The purpose of this research was 1) to know the correlation between adversity intelligence with learning motivation on class XI students in SMK N 1 Kalasan. 2) To know the level adversity intelligence on class XI students in SMK N 1 Kalasan. 3) To know the level learning motivation on class XI students in SMK N 1 Kalasan. This research was quantitative research with correlation analysis technique. The number of the sample is 190 students, and used saturated and dense sampling technique. The data was collected by using the scale of adversity intelligence and the scale of learning motivation. The adversity intelligence scale had the reliability about 0,882, while the learning motivation scale had the reability about  0,841. The data was analysis technique by using Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis technique. The result of this research showed that there is 1) the positive correlation between adversity intelligence with learning motivation on class XI students in SMK N 1 Kalasan that is with the correlation coefficient of 0,148. 2) Most of the class XI students in SMK N 1 Kalasan have adversity intelligence level in the medium category as many as 124 students or 65,3 %. The determination coefficient showed that variable of adversity intelligence give effective contribution to variable of learning motivation of 2,2 % and the rest influenced by other factor.
