STATUS IDENTITAS DIRI REMAJA YANG MENGKONSUMSI MINUMAN BERALKOHOL

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran tentang status identitas diri remaja yang mengkonsumsi minuman beralkohol. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan merupakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Pemilihan subyek penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling sejumah tiga subyek, yaitu remaja dengan usia 15-18 tahun. Data penelitian didapatkan melalui teknik wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman, yaitu meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Sementara uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data, yaitu triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa status identitas yang dicapai remaja yang mengkonsumsi minuman beralkohol sangat tergantung pada tingkat dan kualitas proses eksplorasi serta komitmen yang dilakukan oleh remaja tersebut. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari berbedanya status identitas diri yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing subyek. Subyek DTA memiliki status identitas diri yaitu identity moratorium dimana subyek memiliki eksplorasi namun komitmen yang dimiliki belum jelas. Subyek AS memiliki status identitas diri yaitu identity diffused dimana subyek memiliki eksplorasi namun tidak memiliki komitmen, serta subyek JR memiliki status identitas diri yaitu identity achievement dimana subyek sudah memiliki eksplorasi dan komitmen.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to know the image about the teenager’s status of self identities who consume alcoholic beverages. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of case studies. The selection of subjects of research using a purposive sampling which are three subjects, namely the adolescents with ages 15-18 years. Research data obtained through observation and interview techniques. Data analysis technique used is interactive analysis model developed by Miles and Huberman that includes data collection, reduction of data, display data, as well as the withdrawal of conclusions and verification. While the validity of test data is using the technique of triangulation of data, that is the triangulation of sources. The results of this research shows that the identity status which obtained by teenager is greatly dependable on the level and quality of the process of exploration and commitment made by them. It can be seen from the different status of identity that owned by the respective subjects. The subject of the DTA has the status of identity that is identity moratorium. The subject of the U.S. has the status of identity that is identity diffused. The subject of JR has the status of identity that is identity achievement.
