HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERCAYA DIRI DENGAN PENYESUAIAN SOSIAL SISWA KELAS X DI SMA NEGERI 3 BANTUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara percaya diri dengan penyesuaian sosial siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 3 Bantul. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 194 siswa. Ukuran sampel penelitian sebanyak 123 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasi, instrumen pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner berupa skala dengan uji validitas konstruk, reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha cronbach dengan hasil 0,702 variabel percaya diri dan 0,928 variabel penyesuaian sosial. Uji persyaratan analisis menggunakan uji normalitas, dan uji linearitas, sedangkan uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi product moment dari Karl Pearson dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 22.00 for windows. Pada variabel percaya diri kategori “sedang” sebesar 29,3% dan pada variabel penyesuaian sosial kategori “sedang” sebesar 26,8%. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukan “terdapat hubungan positif antara percaya diri dengan penyesuaian sosial siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 3 Bantul” yang dilihat dari nilai h > nilai yaitu 0,717 > 0,176 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract
This research aimed at investigating the correlation between self-confidence and social adjustment of x grade students at SMA N 3 Bantul. The population of the research as many as 194 students. Sample size studies as much as 123 students. . The instrument used was the scale of attitude with construct validity test. The reliability was tested using Alpha cronbach formula resulting 0.702 on self-confidence variable and 0.928 on social adjustment variable. The requirement analysis was tested using normality, linearity. Meanwhile, the hypothesis was tested using product moment correlational analysis of Karl Pearson by using the help of SPSS version 22.00 for windowsIt was found that the self-confidence variable was in moderate level (29.3%) and the social adjustment variable was in moderate level (26.8%). The hypothesis test showed that there was positive and significant correlation between self-confidence and social adjustment of six grade students at SMA N 3 Bantul viewed from the value i.e. 0.717 > 0.176 and value of significance i.e. 0.000 < 0.05.
