ABO BLOOD GROUPING SLIDE METHOD TOOL BASED ON ATMEGA16

Abstract

Blood is a fluid contained in the human body. Everyone has the different blood group so that
blood type is necessary. This far blood type is still done manually.The purpose of the ABO blood
grouping slide method tool based on ATmega16 to help the blood grouping process based on ABO blood
type using slide method to facilitate the blood transfusion process. Making a ABO blood grouping slide
method based on ATmega16 consists of several stages as needs analysis, needs identification, schematic
block diagram, hardware design, software design, tool making, tool test, and data retrieval. This tool
uses a DC motor that serves to run the slide and mixing blood with reagents. Using servo motor that
serves to drip the reagent liquid and determine the position of DC motor stirrer. Based on the test
implementation has obtained data that the tool can work well and according to its function. The Power
supply works well with error rate ≤ 3%.
