ATMEGA16 TRAINER DEVELOPMENT USING PPI 8255 AT LEARNING MICROCONTROLLER FOR CLASS XI ENGINEERING ELECTRONIC INDUSTRY IN SMK NEGERI 2 BOJONEGORO

Abstract


The purpose of this research is to develop the design of build and performance and know the feasibility level of ATmega 16 development trainer using PPI 8255 at Industrial Engineering Expertise Program at SMK N 2 Bojonegoro. This research is a Research and Development research. Product Development Stages include 1) Potentials and Problems, 2) Data Collection, 3) Product Design, 4) Product Validation, 5) Design Revision, 6) Product Testing, 7) Product Revision, 8) Usage Trial, 9) Final Product. The methods used in data collection include 1). Tests and observations to determine the feasibility of trainers and performance, 2). Questionnaire research. Validation of instructional media involving material experts and media experts, as well as trial usage conducted by students. The results showed that the trainer development result was in accordance with the design as the development of ATmega 16 trainer using PPI 8255 in SMK Negeri 2 Bojonegoro. The results by the material expert obtained a feasibility level with a percentage of 83.79% with very decent category. The results by media experts obtained the feasibility level with a percentage of 79.42% with very decent category. The usage test by grade XI students of Industrial Electronics Engineering program at SMK N 2 Bojonegoro got the feasibility percentage value of 84.31%, so the development of ATmega 16 trainer using PPI 8255 is categorized as a learning media for Industrial Electronics Engineering skill program at SMK N 2 Bojonegoro.
