Abstract
The objectives of the research are to develop desktop-based learning media of computer assembly simulation in accordance with the needs of students in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro and to test the quality of desktop-based learning media of computer assembly simulation covering aspects of functionality, maintainability, efficiency, and usability (ISO 9126) and testing aspects of the material. The method of this research is Research and Development (R & D) with the ADDIE development model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results are (1) Desktop-based learning media of computer assembly simulation at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro built using Adobe Flash CS 6 application with Actionscript 2.0 programming language on ADDIE development model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. (2) The results of learning media evaluation showed that software functionality was considered as good, the maintainability test using Rikard Land measurements by applying the correct fault, consistency, and simplicity aspects, the efficiency test shows 40,276 KB of memory usage with an average usage of 16,068 KB and 6% of CPU usage so the application can run well without any memory leak, usability and material testing obtained good / high yield.
