PROTOTYPE URINE ANALYZER TELEMETRY USING COLOR SENSOR TO DETECT DIABETES DISEASE IN SOMEONE

Abstract


Lack of public awareness to conduct regular medical check-up every month causes an increasing number of deaths each year. In fact, medical check-upis necessary, consider to recently there are many diseases that do not always cause early symptoms. So it should motivate people to change their mindset and actively conducting regular medical check-up. The purpose of this tool is to design and to know the performance of the design that has been made. The process of making the tool is consists of several steps that have their respective functions. In addition, the selection of components used also has been adjusted to the existing design needs.In the hardware section, Arduino UNO is used as the primary control of tool, Ethernet Shield as an intermediate data transmission to the network which will be displayed on the webpage, as well as TCS230 as urine color detector sensor which the entire work is supplied by 8 VDC power supply.whereas in the software section, the use of Arduino IDE as a programming application C/C++ and Notepad++ as HTML programming applications were selected caused by easier use and familiar to user in writing or editing the program with the language type respectively. According to the results of testing that have been done with the testing object of 10 samples, the results obtained that the quality of the tool can be implemented and can be used properly. Whereas the quantity, known that the erroraverage on each urine color detection of 10%. Meanwhile, there are no obstacle the appearance of the measurement results on the website when testing. Measurement errors are generally due to inappropriate urine sample position, lack of database, as well as the level of sensitivity and accuracy of the components used.
