TRAINER SENSOR AND ACTUATOR AS A LEARNING MEDIA FOR CLASS XI INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING SMK NEGERI 3 WONOSARI

Abstract


This research aims to produce Trainer Sensor and Actuator as learning media to design of development, test performance, and test the feasibility level of Trainer Sensor and Actuator as learning media on Sensor and Actuator Subjects for students of class XI Competence of Industrial Electronics Engineering Expertise at SMK Negeri 3 Wonosari. The research uses research and development method with stages: (1) Analysis Potential and Problem; (2) Data Collection; (3) Product Design; (4) Design Validation; (5) Design Revisions; (6) Product Trial;
(7) Product Revision; (8) Trial of Use; and (9) Product Revisions. The object of this research is learning media Trainer Sensor and Actuator on Sensor and Actuator Subjects for class XI Competence of Industrial Electronics Expertise at SMK Negeri 3 Wonosari. The learning media is validated by material experts and media experts, as well as 64 students of class XI (eleven) Industrial Electronics Engineering SMK Negeri 3 Wonosari as the subject of trial use. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The result of this research is a Trainer Sensor and Actuator as learning media with 4 series of experiments covering: (1) LM35 Temperature Sensor, (2) Ultrasonic Sensor HCSR-04, (3) LDR Light Sensor (Light Depending Resistor), (4) TCS230 Color Sensor equipped with learning module. The results of testing performance Trainer Sensors and Actuators, known sensors can work well that is able to detect changes in the object of each sensor. The validation results of the content of learning media development of Trainer Sensor and Actuator by material experts get the percentage of 88.15% with very decent category. While the results of construct validation conducted by media experts get a percentage of 84.72% with very decent category. And then the results of trial usage by students get a percentage of 78.16% with very decent category. So Trainer Sensor and Actuator can be categorized as "Very Decent" as a learning media on Sensor and Actuator Subjects for students of class XI Competency of Industrial Electronics Engineering Expertise at SMK Negeri 3 Wonosari.
