THE APPLICATION OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING METHOD TYPE TGT (TURNAMENT GAME TEAMS) TO IMPROVE LEARNING’S INTEREST AND LEARNING OUTCOMES BASIC ELECTRONICS STUDENTS CLASS X AUDIO VIDEO ENGINEERING COMPETENCE SMK NEGERI 2 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the increased interest in learning, the learning outcomes Basic Electronics students class X Audio Video Engineering Competence, and the supporting factors and the factors restricting application of learning methods with cooperative type TGT (Turnament Game Teams).This is classroom action research.The subject of research is the grade X TAV 2 which consist of 30 students. Methods of data analysis is done by qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results showed that the application of cooperative learning method with type TGT (Teams Games Tournament) can increase the interest and the results of Basic Electronics students class X Audio Video Engineering Competencies. It can be seen from the students' learning interest in cycle I of 61.06% experienced an increase in cycle II, with the percentage of 71.06%.The results of student learning on a cycle I known an average grade of 76.17 and experiencing an increase in cycle II becomes 82.33.Supporting factors in research namely diciplines and awareness level high students, the use of power point and the giving of handouts, and the associated student mastery of material basic logic gates. Whereas the factors restricting that is other activity during learning, lack of awareness of students, and a lack of assertiveness related teacher time at each stage of learning.
