THE EFFECTIVENESS OF IMPLEMENTATION LEARNING BLOCK SCHEDULE IN ELECTRONIC DEPARTMENT AT SMK N 1 KOTA MAGELANG IN THE 2017/2018 ACADEMIC YEAR

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to (1) knowing the effectiveness of the implementation of learning block schedule in the Electronics Department at SMK Negeri 1 Magelang academic year 2017/2018 which is used to support teaching factory teaching, (2) knowing the effectiveness of the implementation of learning block schedule in the Electronics Department at SMK Negeri 1 City Magelang 2017/2018 academic year used for the optimization of facilities and infrastructure. This research was an ex post facto research. The subjects of the study were all teachers in the Electronics Department and students of class X and XI of the Industrial Electronics Program. Research data collected by questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistical analysis. The result of this research are: (1) the effectiveness of organizing the learning of block schedule at Electronics Department in the academic year 2017/2018 which viewed from the aspect of teaching factory system into the category is very effective. The percentage data is 79.6% according to the teacher and the percentage is 77.5% according to the students. The percentage of achievement percentage is supported with the result of products and services produced at the Department of Electronics. The data shows that the implementation of learning block schedule can support teaching factory. (2) The effectiveness of organizing learning block schedule at Electronics Department in the academic year 2017/2018 which viewed from the aspect of facilities and infrastructure entered in the effective category with the percentage data of 75.3% according to the teacher and very effective category with the percentage data of 79.8% according to the students. The percentage achievement figures are supported by the calculation of the time of use of the main equipment of practice at Electronics Department. The data shows that the implementation of learning block schedule can optimize the use of facilities and infrastructure in the Department of Electronics.
