PROTOTYPE SECURITY SYSTEM OF WAREHOUSE DOORS USING BARCODE SCANNER AND SMS BASED ARDUINO UNO MICROCONTROLLER

Abstract


The Security of goods in warehouse are guarded, the door have opened by limited workers. The purpose of making this tool is to build hardware and software security system of warehouse doors using barcode scanner and SMS based Arduino Uno, also their performance. The development of warehouse doors security system consists of few steps which are needs identification, needs analysis, block circuit diagram, system planning, the steps of tool making, flowchart program, tool testing, and data taking. This tool uses Arduino Uno (AT-Mega 328) microcontroller as control system, barcode scanner BS100 as a scanner for barcode, Sim800l to send the message, DC motor as door activator, and solenoid door lock as door lock. Result the idea of prototype security system of warehouse doors using barcode scanner and SMS based Arduino Uno the testing of performance the system can be work as its function and its purpose, prove with testing the power supply switching without load is 1,57% error, and with load 1,18%, testing of barcode scanner have 100% of accurate, , testing of RTC have 2,66% error with the real time, the voltage of dc motor while running is 4,22V. The voltage input of solenoid door lock is 12,05V while active, SIM800L can be send the message could be the input condition, and the algoritma operation of program this tools has a 100% success rate.
