PERSEPSI SISWA TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PESERTA PENDIDIKAN PROFESI GURU (PPG) DI SMA NEGERI 1 WATES TAHUN 2015/2016

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi peserta Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) jurusan pendidikan ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Wates Tahun 2015/2016. Persepsi siswa ini ditinjau dari jenis kelamin, pekerjaan orang tua, minat menjadi guru, dan keinginan orang tua agar anak menjadi guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan populasi 96 siswa kelas XI. Penelitian  ini merupakan penelitian pupulasi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tabulasi silang (crosstab). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa terhadap kompetensi peserta PPG di SMA Negeri 1 Wates kelas XI tahun 2015/2016 berdasarkan jenis kelamin, pekerjaan orang tua, minat siswa menjadi guru, dan keinginan orang tua agar anak menjadi guru masuk dalam kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate pupils’ perceptions of the competencies of the students of the Teaching Profession Education (TPE) program study economic education at Senior High School 1 Wates in 2015/2016. The pupils’ perceptions are viewed from the sex, parents’ occupations, interest in becoming teachers, and parents’ expectations of their children to be teachers.This was a descriptive study using the quantitative approach with a population comprising 96 pupils of Grade XI of SMA Negeri 1 Wates. This was a population study.The data were collected by a questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique was the crosstab. The results of the study are The competencies of the students of the TPE program according to the perceptions sex, parents’ occupations, interest in becoming teachers, and parents’ expectations of their children to be teachers pupils are in the high category.
