FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X SMA N 1 PIYUNGAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI TAHUN AJARAN 2015/2016

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) motivasi belajar siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Piyungan pada mata pelajaran ekonomi, 2) pengaruh fasilitas belajar terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, 3) pengaruh lingkungan keluarga terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, 4) pengaruh fasilitas belajar dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, 5) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa selain fasilitas belajar dan lingkungan keluarga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Piyungan tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 140 siswa dengan sampel penelitan sebanyak 102 siswa menggunakan teknik propotional random sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) motivasi belajar siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Piyungan pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dalam kategori sedang sebesar (60%) siswa, 2) fasilitas belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, 3) lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, 4) fasilitas belajar dan lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,438 dapat diartikan bahwa 43,8% motivasi belajar dipengaruhi oleh fasilitas belajar dan lingkungan keluarga, 5) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa selain fasilitas belajar dan lingkungan keluarga yaitu peran guru, ketertarikan terhadap materi, lingkungan teman, cita-cita atau aspirasi dan kondisi siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) the learning motivation of Grade X students of SMAN 1 Piyungan in the economics subject, 2) the effect of learning facilities on their motivation, 3) the effect of family environments on their learning motivation, 4) the effect of learning facilities and family environment on their learning facilities, and 5) the factors affecting their learning motivation in addition to learning facilities and family environment. This was a quantitative descriptive study. The research population comprised Grade X students of SMAN 1 Piyungan in the 2015/2016 academic year with a total of 140 students and the research sample consisted of 102 students selected by means of the proportional random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by the descriptive technique and multiple regression. The results of the study show that: 1) regarding the learning motivation of Grade X students of SMAN 1 Piyungan in the economics subject, 60% of the students are in the moderate category, 2) learning facilities have a significant positive effect on their learning motivation, 3) family environments have a significant positive effect on their learning motivation, 4) learning facilities and family environments have a significant positive effect on their learning motivation with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.438, indicating 43.8% of the learning motivation is affected by learning facilities and family environments, and 5) the factors affecting students’ learning motivation, in addition to learning facilities and family environments, include teachers’ roles, interest in the materials, circle of friends, intention or aspiration, and their conditions.
