PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SNOWBALL THROWING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN TEKSTIL DI SMK N 3 MAGELANG

Abstract


Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mengetahui hasil pre-test siswa pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen sebelum diterapkan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing pada mata pelajaran tekstil; 2) mengetahui hasil post-test siswa pada kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dan kelas eksperimen setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing pada mata pelajaran tekstil; 3) mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran tekstil di SMK Negeri 3 Magelang. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan pendekatan Quasi Eksperiment. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretest posttest control group design. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hasil belajar pre-test kelas eksperimen nilai rata-rata 77,37, nilai tertinggi 87, nilai terendah 69, nilai pre- test kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata 73,62, nilai tertinggi 85.5, nilai terendah 59,5, (2) hasil belajar post-test kelas eksperimen rata-rata 83,24, nilai tertinggi 100, nilai terendah 75, nilai post-test kelas kontrol rata-rata 77,71, nilai tertinggi 88,5, nilai terendah 68,5, (3) ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing pada Mata Pelajaran Tekstil terhadap Hasil Belajar. Hasil uji t test yaitu 4,178 ≥ 1,995 atau t hitung > t tabel. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

This study aimed to find out: 1) the students’ pretest scores in the control class and the experimental class before applying the Snowball Throwing learning model in the textile subject; 2) the students’ posttest scores in the control class not using the Snowball Throwing learning model and those in the experimental class after applying the Snowball Throwing learning model in the textile subject; and 3) the effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model on the students’ learning outcomes in the textile subject at SMK Negeri 3 Magelang. This was a quasi-experimental study. It used the pretest posttest control group design. The data analysis were the descriptive technique, and the t-test. The results of the study showed that: (1) the pretest score in the experimental class was indicated by a mean score of 77,37, a maximum score of 87, a minimum score of 69, the pretest score in the control class was indicated by mean score of 73,62, a maximum score of 85,5, a minimum score of 59,5; (2) the posttest score in the experimental class was indicated by a mean score of 83,24, a maximum score of 100, a minimum score of 75, the posttest score in the control class was indicated by a mean score of 77,71, a maximum score of 88,5, a minimum score of 68,5; (3) there was an effect of the use of model of the Snowball Throwing in the Design Principles subject on the learning achievement. The results of the t- test were 4.178 > 1.995or tobserved > ttable.. This indicated that model of the Jigsaw type had a significant effect on the students learning achievement.
