PENGARUH TUTOR SEBAYA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DASAR TEKNOLOGI MENJAHIT DI SMK N 3 KLATEN THE EFFECT OF THE PEER TUTORING ON THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF BASIC SEWING TECHNOLOGY AT SMK N 3 KLATEN

Abstract


Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui hasil belajar Dasar Teknologi Menjahit sebelum
diterapkan Tutor Sebaya, (2) Mengetahui hasil belajar Dasar Teknologi Menjahit setelah diterapkan
Tutor Sebaya, (3) Mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh Tutor Sebaya terhadap hasil belajar Dasar
Teknologi Menjahit.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control
group. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Sampel berjumlah 64 siswa.
Instrument menggunakan tes dan observasi. Uji hipotesis menggunakan independent sample t-test.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) Hasil belajar Dasar Teknologi Menjahit sebelum
diterapkan Tutor Sebaya diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata pretest kelas kontrol sebesar 74,47. Sedangkan,
kelas eksperimen sebesar 74,74, (2) Hasil belajar Dasar Teknologi Menjahit setelah diterapkan Tutor
Sebaya diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 74,78. Sedangkan kelas eksperimen
sebesar 81,41, (3) Terdapat pengaruh Tutor Sebaya terhadap hasil belajar Dasar Teknologi Menjahit.
Hasil independent sample t-test, pada kelas eksperimen didapatkan hasil signifikan sebesar 0,002 <
0,005.

This study aimed to find out: (1) the learning outcomes of basic sewing technology before
applying peer tutoring, (2) the learning outcomes of basic sewing technology after the peer tutoring
was applied, (3) whether or not there was an effect of the peer tutoring on the learning outcomes of
basic sewing technology.
This was quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling
technique was the simple random sampling technique. The sample consisted of 64 students. The
research instruments were a test and an observation sheet. The hypothesis testing used the
independent samples t-test.
The results of this study were as follows (1) The learning outcomes of the basic sewing
technology before the Peer Tutor was applied, the results of the average control class pretest were
74.47. While the experimental class is 74.74, (2) The learning outcomes of the Basic Sewing
Technology after applying Peer Tutor showed that the average score of the control class posttest was
74.78. While the experimental class is 81.41, (3) There was an effect of the peer tutoring on the
learning outcomesof basic sewing technology. This was indicated by the results of the independent
samples t-test, in the experimental group there was a significant result of 0.002 < 0.005.
