PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS SISWA KELAS X DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHAN PELENGKAP BUSANA MELALUI PENERAPAN METODE TAI DI SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 BOROBUDUR

Abstract


Penelitianini  bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas  belajar siswa dalam  pembelajaran
pemilihan bahan pelengkapbusana di SMK Muhammadiyah  1 Borobudur melalui metodeTeam
Assisted Individualization  (TAI).Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK)
menggunakan metode spiral kemmis dan Mc Taggart dengan siklus yang meliputi tahap perencanaan
tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi.Hasil penelitian yaitu perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti
pembelajaran bahan pelengkap busana menggunakan metode TAI. Proses pembelajaran dilihat dari
aktivitas  belajar siswa melalui metode  TAI  dengan dibuktikan pada pra siklus, yaitu 13 siswa
(38,24%) kategori sangat rendah, 17 siswa (50%) kategori rendah dan 4 siswa (11,76%) kategori
tinggi, meningkat pada siklus I, yaitu 10 siswa (29,41%) kategori rendah, 17 siswa (50%) kategori
tinggi dan 7 siswa (20,59%) kategori sangat tinggi dan meningkat kembali pada siklus II sebanyak 7
siswa (14,71%), dan 29 siswa (85,29%) kategori sangat tinggi, dan meningkat kembali pada siklus
akhir , yaitu 34 siswa (100%) tuntasKKM.

This study aimed to improve their activities in learning the selection of clothing
complementary materials at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Borobudur through the Team Assisted
Individualization method. This was a classroom action research (CAR) study using Kemmis and
McTaggart’s spiral method with cycles consisting of the stages of planning, action, observation, and
reflection. The results of the study were as follows the observations were done on the learning process
and the students’ learning activities through the TAI method; in the pre-cycle the results showed that
13 students (38.24%) were in very low category, 17 students (50%) in low category, and 4 students
(11.76%) in the high category, which increased in Cycle I, indicated by 10 students (29.41%) in the
low category, 17 students (50%) in the high category, and 7 students (20.59%) in the very high
category, and increased again in Cycle II, indicated by 7 students (14.71%) in the high category and
29 students (85.29%) in the very high category. Attaining it, and increased again in Cycle II,
indicated by 34 students (100%) attaining the minimum mastery criterion. The results showed that the
application of the Team Aassisted Individualization method was capable of improving the students’
activities in learning clothing supplementary materials.
