EKSPEKTASI SISWA KELAS XI SMK NEGERI 1 WONOSARI TERHADAP PEKERJAAN BIDANG BUSANA

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ekspektasi siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Wonosari
terhadap  pekerjaan  bidang  busana  ditinjau  dari  Effort-Performance  Expectancy  (E-P),  Performance
Outcome  Expectancy  (P-O),  dan  Valence.  Penelitian  ini  merupakan  penelitian  deskriptif  dengan
pendekatan  kuantitatif  dan  teknik  pengumpulan  data  dilakukan  dengan  metode  survay.  Populasi
penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Busana Butik SMK Negeri 1 Wonosari
sebanyak 64 orang. Ukuran sampel penelitian sebanyak 61 orang ditentukan dengan rumus Nomogram
Harry King. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket , analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  ekspektasi siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Wonosari terhadap pekerjaan
bidang busana termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang, hal ini ditunjukkan dari fakta  ekspektasi siswa kelas
XI  SMK  Negeri  1  Wonosari  terhadap  pekerjaan  bidang  busana  ditinjau  dari  Effort-Performance
Expectancy  (E-P)  sebesar  52.45%,  sedangkan  ekspektasi  siswa  kelas  XI  SMK  Negeri  1  Wonosari
terhadap  pekerjaan  bidang  busana  ditinjau  dari  Performance  Outcome  Expectancy  (P-O)  sebesar
65.57%,  dan  ekspektasi  siswa  kelas  XI  SMK  Negeri  1  Wonosari  terhadap  pekerjaan  bidang  busana
ditinjau dari Valence sebesar 62.29%. Ketiga kategori pengukur ekspektasi tersebut memiliki presentase
yang  cukup  baik  sehingga  dapat  disimpulkan  bahwa  siswa  memiliki  ekspektasi  yang  cukup  baik
terhadap pekerjaan bidang busana.

The  objective  of  this  study  was  to  analyze  expectation  of  class  XI  students  of  SMK  Negeri  1
Wonosari  on  works  in  fashion  industry  based  on  effort-performance  expectancy  (E-P),  performance
outcome  expectancy (P-O),  and  valence.  This  was  a  descriptive  study  with  qualitative  approach and
survey method as the data collection technique. The population of the study was all 64 class XI students
of Boutique Expertise Program, SMK Negeri 1 Wonosari. The sample size was 61 students, which was
determined  by  Harry  King  nomogram.  Data  were  collected  using  questionnaires  and  analyzed  with
descriptive analysis.The result shows that class XI students of  SMK Negeri 1 Wonosari  had moderate
expectation regarding works in the fashion industry, with the values of effort-performance expectancy
(E-P),  performance  outcome  expectancy  (P-O)  and  valence  reached  52.45%,  65.57%,  and  62.29%,
respectively. These three values were in „good‟ category, which means that class XI students of  SMK
Negeri 1 Wonosari considered works in the fashion industry is a good career choice.
