PENGARUH IMPLEMENTASI METODE DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN PENYEMPURNAAN BAHAN TEKSTIL SISWA KELAS X TATA BUSANA DI SMK NEGERI 6 YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi metode discovery learning terhadap pemahaman materi penyempurnaan bahan tekstil siswa kelas X Tata Busana di SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan tipe quasi eksperiment, menggunakan desain eksperimen nonequivalent pretest dan posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta dan jumlah sampelnya 30 siswa yang diambil secara simple random sampling. Ukuran sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Validitas instrumen tes dibuktikan dengan validitas konstrak yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis butir soal Iteman. Reliablitas menggunakan KR 21. Pengolahan data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial dengan uji-t independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh implementasi metode discovery learning terhadap pemahaman materi penyempurnaan bahan tekstil siswa kelas X Tata Busana di SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta, yang dibuktikan dari hasil uji independent-samples t-test diperoleh nilai thitung<ttabel(-2,954 < 2,001) dan probability = 0,005 < 0,05 pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% yang berarti H0ditolak Ha diterima.

Abtract
This research aims to find out there is an effect of the implementation of the discovery learning method on the understanding of the materials for the finishing of textile materials among Grade X students of Fashion Design of VHS 6 Yogyakarta. This was a quasi-experimental study using the nonequivalent pretest and posttest control group design. The population of this research is to grade X SMK N 6 sampelnya number of Yogyakarta and 30 students are taken as a simple random sampling. The sample size is determined using the class experiments and classroom control. The validity of the test instrument is evidenced by the validity of invalid constructs were analyzed using analysis of grain reserved Iteman. Reliablitas use KR 21. The data were analyzed by the descriptive technique and the inferential technique using the independent sample t-test.There was an effect of the implementation of the discovery learning method on the understanding of the materials for the finishing of textile materials among Grade X students of Fashion Design of VHS 6 Yogyakarta, indicated by the results of the independent test samples t-test with tobserved<ttable (-2.954 <2.001) and probability = 0.005 < 0.05 at step trust 95% so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted.
