KONTRIBUSI KEBERSIHAN LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat kontribusi kebersihan lingkungan sekolah terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD se-gugus 2 Kecamatan Pakem Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain penelitian expost facto. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 141 siswa dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 223 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Instrumen penelitian diuji menggunakan validitas konstrak yang selanjutnya dihitung validitas dan realibilitasnya. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan uji korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat kontribusi kebersihan lingkungan sekolah terhadap  motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD  se-gugus 2 Kecamatan Pakem Yogyakarta dengan tingkat hubungan sangat rendah. Hal tersebut didasarkan pada perolehan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,014 dan pada proporsi signifikasi 5% r hitung > r tabel atau 0,979 > 0,878 yang membuat Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebersihan lingkungan sekolah berkontribusi positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims at determining the contribution of school environment sanitation to students' learning motivation on 5th grade of elementary school  in 2nd cluster of Pakem district, Yogyakarta. This study is a quantitative study using expost facto research design. This study involved 141 sample students that have come from 223 total number of population. The data were  obtained by using the questionnaires and observation guidelines. In testing the instrument, construct validity was used, the following steps were both counting the validity and the reliability. Pearson product moment were used to analyze the data. The result of research shows that school environment sanitation could significantly contribute the student learning motivation on 5th grade of elementary school in 2nd cluster of Pakem district Yogyakarta implies low correlation level. Based on the result coefficient correlation amount of 0,014 and with a significance level of 5% count r = 0.979> r table = 0.878 makes Ho was rejected and Ha was received. The result of research shows that school environtment sanitation contributes a lot to student's learning motivation.
