PENANAMAN KARAKTER CINTA LINGKUNGAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI TAMANAN BANTUL

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penanaman karakter cinta lingkungan di SD N Tamanan Bantul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data dengan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter cinta lingkungan ditanamkan dengan: (1) Pengembangan kurikulum sekolah meliputi program pengembangan diri dengan kegiatan rutin piket, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, pengkondisian sekolah, pengintegrasian dalam semua mata pelajaran, budaya sekolah melalui SMUTLIS, ruang dan fasilitas, motivasi siswa, hadiah dan hukuman, pengembangan nilai karakter cinta lingkungan. (2) Pengembangan proses pembelajaran kelas dengan praktek langsung, sekolah dengan pengarahan dan lomba, luar sekolah dengan pramuka, kunjungan  dan outbond/wisata. (3) Pengembangan kesehatan sekolah, pemeliharaan ruang dan bangunan, pencahayaan dan ventilasi udara ruang kelas, fasilitas sanitasi, pengelolaan kantin/warung, pencegahan lingkungan dari jentik nyamuk, larangan merokok, promosi hygiene dan sanitasi dengan poster, himbauan/ajakan dan sosialisasi.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the inculcation of environmental interest character in SD N Tamanan Bantul. This research was a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of the research were the headmasters, the teachers and the students. The data were collected by observation, interview and documentation. The data has been analyzed by data reduction, data display and conclusion. The validity of data used triangulation data and resources. The result of the research show that environmental interest character inculcated by:  The development of school curriculum includes self-development program includes regular activities of picket, spontaneous activities,  exemplary and school conditioning, the integrating pursued in all subject to study, school culture  by SMUTLIS, room space and facilities, motivation to students, reward and punishment, development of environmental interest character. The development of classroom learning process by direct practicing, school with briefing and competition and outside school with scout, study tour and outbound. The development of school health includes maintenance of classroom and building, lighting, and sufficient ventilation inside classroom, sanitation management, canteen management, environmental prevention from mosquito larvae, prohibition of smoking and hygiene and sanitation promotion by using posters, invitation and socialization.
