INTERNALISASI KARAKTER RELIGIUS DI SD NEGERI DEMAKIJO 1

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan internalisasi karakter religius di SD Negeri Demakijo 1. Jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian siswa, guru, dan kepala sekolah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi, display, penarikan kesimpulan. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, upaya internalisasi karakter religius melalui tiga strategi; 1) pengembangan diri, meliputi kegiatan: a) rutin, b) spontan, c) keteladanan, dan d) pengkondisian lingkungan; 2) pengintegrasian mata pelajaran, mencantumkan karakter religius pada silabus, RPP, menyisipkan pesan moral religius dalam pelajaran IPA, IPS, PKn, dan PAI; 3) budaya sekolah, menyisipkan karakter religius dalam: tata krama siswa, kegiatan di kelas, sekolah, dan luar sekolah. Sikap siswa yang terbentuk senang melaksanakan ibadah karena kesadaran diri sendiri dan takut kepada Tuhannya. Perilaku yang muncul siswa melaksanakan ibadah dengan khusyuk. Hambatan internalisasi karakter
religius: rendahnya kesadaran siswa berperilaku religius, kurangnya dukungan orang tua, dan kurangnya waktu mengadakan kegiatan keagamaan.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the internalisation of religious character in SD Negeri Demakijo 1. The type of this research was descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were students, teachers, and the headmaster. The data was collected through interviews, observations and documentation. The data was analysed by using reduction, display, and conclusion. The validity of research results were tested by using resources and techniques triangulation. The result of the research show that: the internalisation of religious character was carried out through three strategies; 1) the self-development activities that include: a) routine, b) spontaneous, c) exemplary, and d) environmental conditioning; 2) the integration of subjects, by including the religious character of the syllabus, lesson plans, conveying a message of religious morality on science, social studies, civics, and religious education; 3) school culture, by accomodating the religious character in: students’ manner, class-based activities, school and out of school activites. The happiness of doing the praying activies because of the selfawareness
and the fear of Gods is the formed attitudes. The behaviour that appears is the students practice their religion devoutly. The obstacles of the internalisation of religious character are the low awareness of students'
religious behaviour, lack of parental support, and lack of time to hold religious activities.
