Improving The Ability in the GermanWriting Skill of the11thGrade Language ClassStudents of SMAN 1 Prambanan Klaten Through Language Games of “Bildgeschichte”

Abstract


This research aimed to describe the increase in: (1) the achievement of German writing skills of the grade 11 thlanguage class students of SMAN 1 Prambanan Klaten,and (2) the activity of the grade 11thlanguage class students of SMAN 1 Prambanan Klaten  in German languagelearning. The subject of this research was the grade 11 thlanguage class students of SMAN 1 Prambanan Klaten. This classroom action research consisted of two cycles. Each  cycle consisted  of  planning,  action,  observation,  and reflection. The  data  were  analyzed using descriptive qualitative. The results of this research showed that: (1) there was a successful product showed by the increasing of the achievement of German language writing skills of the grade 11thlanguage class students of SMAN 1 Prambanan Klatenthrough language gamesof“Bildgeschichte” by 21,2%, and (2) there was a successful in process showed by the increasing of students’s activity on German language learning writing skills by 70,37%.
