PENGEMBANGAN MOBILE GAME “BRAINCHEMIST” SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KIMIA SMA/MA PADA MATERI ASAM BASA, LARUTAN PENYANGGA, DAN HIDROLISIS GARAM

Abstrak

 

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan

mobile

game

“Brainchemist” sebagai media pembelajaran kimia

SMA/MA pada materi asam basa, larutan penyangga, dan

 

hidrolisis garam, mengetahui kualitas dari

mobile game

“Brainchemist” berdasarkan penilaian 5 orang guru kimia SMA

 

serta mengetahui penilaian dan tanggapan siswa SMA terhadap

 

mobile game

“Brainchemist”. Model pengembangan yang

digunakan mengadaptasi dari model ADDIE, (

Analyze, Design,

Development, Implementation,

dan Evaluation), namun hanya

dilaksanakan hingga tahap keempat, yaitu implementasi.

 

Produk

mobile game dinilai oleh reviewer (5 orang guru kimia

SMA) dan 24 siswa SMA. Hasil penilaian dianalisis untuk

 

menentukan kualitas produk. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini

 

adalah aplikasi

mobile game “Brainchemist” yang dapat

dioperasikan pada

mobilephone Android. Penilaian oleh

reviewer menunjukkan bahwa

mobile game “Brainchemist” ini

memiliki kualitas sangat baik (SB) dan siswa menilai baik (B)

 

terhadap kualitas

mobile game “Brainchemist” ini. Pembelajaran

mobile game

“Brainchemist” lebih menarik, menyenangakan,

dan menambah ketertarikan dalam belajar kimia.

Mobile game

“Brainchemist” ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran

 

kimia SMA/MA pada materi asam basa, larutan penyangga, dan

 

hidrolisis garam.

Abstract

 

The aims of this research were to develop mobile game

 

“Brainchemist” as chemistry learning media in senior high

 

school on acid base, buffer solution, and salt hydrolysis, to

 

determine the quality of mobile game “Brainchemist” as

 

chemistry learning media based on evaluating by five chemistry

 

teachers, and to evaluate the quality and to know response of

 

this mobile game based on senior high school students. The

 

model of development was adaptated from ADDIE (Analyze,

 

Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation)

 

model.However, without applying evaluation step. The product

 

of mobile game was evaluated by reviewers (5 chemistry

 

teachers) and 24 Senior High School students. The result of the

 

evaluation was analyzed using to determine the quality of

 

product. The result of this development research were mobile

 

game “Brainchemist” that can be applied on Android mobile

 

phone. Based on the data collected from reviewers, mobile game

 

“Brainchemist” has very good in quality. Based on score from

 

students, mobile game “Brainchemist” has good in quality.

 

Learning with this mobile game is interesting, joyfull, and make

 

chemistry learning more attractive. This mobile game can be

 

applied as chemistry learning media on acid base, buffer

 

solution, and salt hydrolysis.
