PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA “ROBOCHEM” BERBASIS KARAKTER PADA MATERI SIFAT KOLIGATIF LARUTAN SEBAGAI SUMBER PEMBELAJARAN MOBILE BAGI PESERTA DIDIK SMA/MA KELAS XII

Abstrak

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dalam bidang pendidikan kimia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan pengembangan media  “Robochem”  berbasis karakter sebagai sumber pembelajaran mobile pada materi sifat koligatif larutan bagi peserta didik SMA/MA kelas XII, mengetahui penilaian kualitas dan muatan pendidikan karakter dari pengembangan media  “Robochem” berdasarkan penilaian guru kimia SMA.

Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model prosedural, dan prosedur pengembangan media “Robochem” terdiri beberapa tahap, yaitu tahap pendahuluan, tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan produk, dan tahap uji coba. Penilaian kualitas produk dilakukan berdasarkan aspek materi dan soal, kebahasaan, keterlaksanaan, tempilan audio dan visual, serta rekayasa perangkat lunak menggunakan angket dengan skala Likert. 

Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini adalah aplikasi mobile game Robochem” sebagai sumber belajar kimia SMA/MA pada materi sifat koligatif larutan yang dapat dioperasikan pada mobilephone Android. Kualitas mobile game “Robochem” berdasarkan penilaian lima reviewer (Guru Kimia SMA/MA) diperoleh skor rata-rata yaitu 99,2. Berdasarkan kriteria penilaian ideal kualitas mobile game “Robochem”, skor rata-rata yang diperoleh berada dalam rentang skor 85,0< ≤105,1 sehingga mobile game “Robochem” termasuk dalam kategori baik (B). Persentase keidealan penilaian kualitas mobile game “Robochem” yaitu sebesar 79,36%. Sedangkan penilaian reviewer terhadap integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam mobile game “Robochem” memperoleh persentase sebesar 91,18%. Mobile game Robochem” layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran kimia SMA/MA berbasis karakter pada materi sifat koligatif larutan.

Abstract

This research is a development research in chemistry education. The aims of this research were to develop mobile game “Robochem” based on character as a source of mobile learning on Colligative Properties for student in class XII senior high school, to determine the quality of mobile game and character integrity into the mobile game “Robochem” by chemistry teachers.

The development method was prosedural model. Consisting of several steps, that are introductory analysis, planning, product development, and feld test. After the early product was reviewed and commented by supervisor lecturers, 1 subject matter expert ,1 multimedia expert and, 2 peer reviewers, it was revised. The revised product was evaluated and reviewed 5 chemistry teachers. The data of the evaluation ware analyzed using  to determine the quality of product.

The result of this development research was mobile game “Robochem” as a chemistry source of mobile learning on Colligative Properties can be applied on Android mobile phone. Based on score from reviewers (chemistry teacher SMA/MA) an average score is 99,2. Based on quality criteria ideal mobile game ”Robochem”, the average score obtained is in the range of 85.0< ≤105.1 so mobile game ”Robochem” was good in quality with ideal percentage of 79.36%. The evaluation of the integration of character education in  mobile game ”Robochem” was good also in quality with ideal percentage of 91.18%. This mobile game can be used as chemistry learning source of mobile learning based on character for Senior High School  on coligative solution.
