PENGEMBANGAN CHEMISTRY TEACHING GUIDE MATERI POKOK ASAM BASA BAGI GURU KELAS XI SEMESTER 2 SMA

Abstrak

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan buku “Chemistry Teaching Guide (CTG) Materi Pokok Asam Basa bagi Guru Kelas XI Semester 2 SMA” dan (2) mengetahui kualitas buku “Chemistry Teaching Guide (CTG) Materi Pokok Asam Basa bagi Guru Kelas XI Semester 2 SMA”.

Pengembangan buku CTG dibimbing oleh dosen pembimbing yang merangkap memberi masukan sebagai ahli materi dan ahli media. Masukan juga diperoleh dari teman sejawat dan reviewer. Dengan menggunakan suatu instrumen, buku CTG dinilai oleh reviewer, yaitu lima guru kimia SMA di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Instrumen penilaian terdiri dari beberapa aspek dan kriteria tertentu. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kualitatif yang kemudian dikonversi menjadi data kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif ditabulasi dan dianalisis menggunakan kriteria kategori penilaian ideal untuk menentukan kualitas buku CTG tersebut.

Hasil penelitian ini adalah buku “Chemistry Teaching Guide (CTG) Materi Pokok Asam Basa bagi Guru Kelas XI Semester 2 SMA”. Berdasarkan penilaian lima guru kimia SMA, buku CTG ini mempunyai kualitas Baik dengan skor rata-rata 103,6. Oleh karena itu, buku CTG layak digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif buku petunjuk mengajar bagi guru.

Abstract

This developing research was aimed to (1) develop the book of “Chemistry Teaching Guide (CTG) on the Subject of Acid Base for Teachers at SMA Grade XI Semester 2” and (2) to know the quallity of the book of “Chemistry Teaching Guide (CTG) on the Subject of Acid Base for Teachers at SMA Grade XI Semester 2”.

The development of CTG book was guided by a supervisor which also gave input as subject matter and media expert.  Input were also given by peer reviewers and reviewers. By using an instrument, the CTG book was evaluated by five senior high school chemistry teachers in Yogyakarta Special Region. The instrument of the research consisted of certain aspects and criteria. The result of the evaluation was qualitative data which were converted into quantitative data. The quantitative data were tabulated and analyzed by using the category criteria of ideal evaluation to determine the quality of the CTG book.

 The result of this research was CTG book on the subject of acid base for teachers at SMA grade XI semester 2. Based on the evaluation of five senior high school chemistry teachers, the CTG book was concluded to be Good with the average score of 103,6. Therefore, the CTG book can be used as an alternative teaching guide book for teachers.
