PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA MATERI FLUIDA DINAMIS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN ADOBE FLASH CS 3 PROFESSIONAL UNTUK SISWA SMA KELAS XI SEBAGAI MEDIA BELAJAR MANDIRI THE DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSICS LEARNING MEDIA ON THE DYNAMIC FLUIDS MATERIAL USING ADOBE FLASH CS3 PROFESSIONAL FOR 11th GRADE OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AS AN INDIVIDUAL LEARNING MEDIA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Adobe Flash CS3 Professional untuk siswa SMA kelas XI sebagai media belajar mandiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) kualitas media pembelajaran dan (2) peningkatan penguasaan materi fluida dinamis pada siswa. Metode penelitian diadopsi dari metode penelitian R & D Borg and Gall (1983), dibatasi sampai tahap operational product revision setelah sebelumnya melaksanakan preliminary field testing(uji coba terbatas) dan main field testing(uji coba lapangan). Uji coba terbatas dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Kroya, sedangkan uji coba lapangan dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Kroya dan SMA Negeri 1 Sampang. Data hasil uji coba berupa saran dianalisis secara deskriptif dan data berupa skor rata-rata dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian kualitas media yang dilakukan oleh ahli dikategorikan sangat baik dan penilaian kualitas media yang dilakukan oleh siswa dikategorikan baik. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi fluida dinamis dengan nilai gain 0,52, 0,39, 0,47, dan 0,69, sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

This research was a development of physics learning media using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional for 11th grade of senior high school students as an individual learning media. The research aims to know (1) the quality of learning media and (2) the improvement of students’ mastery on dynamic fluids material. The research methods were adopted from Borg and Gall’s (1983) research methods, were limited to stage of operational product revision after conductingpreliminary field testing and main field testing stages. Preliminary field testing was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kroya, while main field testing was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kroya and SMA Negeri 1 Sampang. The validation data of suggestion were analyzed  descriptively and the data of scores were analyzed quantitatively. The result of this research shows that the assessment of media quality by experts were categorized very good and the assessment of media quality by students were categorized good. Learning media which were developed can improve students’ mastery on dynamic fluids material with number of gain are 0,52, 0,39, 0,47, and 0,69, thus included in the medium category.
