PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA JOYFUL EDUBLOG BERBASIS PEDAGOGICAL CHEMISTRY KNOWLEDGE (PChK) PADA MATERI IKATAN KIMIA UNTUK SISWA SMA/MA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menilai kualitas media Joyful Edublog berbasis Pedagogical Chemistry Knowledge (PChK) pada materi ikatan kimia untuk siswa SMA/MA.
Pengembangan media dibimbing oleh dosen pembimbing dan mendapat masukan dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan peer reviewer. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket untuk menilai kualitas media yang dihasilkan. Penilaian kualitas dilakukan oleh 5 guru kimia SMA/MA yang memiliki blog dan 5 siswa SMA/MA kelas X. Kriteria penilaian didasarkan atas 7 aspek penilaian yaitu aspek edukasi, aspek keilmiahan, aspek teknis, aspek representatif, aspek artistik, aspek kenyamanan penggunaan, dan aspek evaluasi belajar. Hasil penelitian berupa data kualitatif yang diubah menjadi data kuantitatif, kemudian ditabulasi dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan standar kriteria penilaian ideal untuk menentukan kualitas media.
Produk penelitian ini adalah Joyful Edublog berbasis PChK pada materi ikatan kimia untuk siswa SMA/MA. Berdasarkan penilaian reviewer, kualitas media memperoleh nilai baik dari penilaian reviewer guru dan memperoleh nilai sangat baik dari penilaian reviewer siswa. Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut, maka joyful edublog layak digunakan oleh guru dan siswa sebagai media alternatif pembelajaran kimia.

Abstract

This research was a development research. This research aimed to provide Joyful Edublog media based Pedagogical Chemistry Knowledge (PChK) in chemical bonding matter for student SMA/MA.
Media development was guided by a supervisor and got input from matter expert, media expert, and peer reviewer. Research instruments were in the form of questionnaires with a purpose of the quality of media that is produced. The assessment was conducted by five high school/MA chemistry teacher who had blog and five high school/MA student grade X. The assessment was based on 7 aspects of the education, aspect of scientific, technical aspect, representative aspect, artistic aspect, usage convenience aspect, and aspect of learning evaluation. The results of this research would be in the qualitative data that would be changed into quantitative, and the data would be analyzed by using the criteria standard of ideal evaluation to determine the quality of the media.
The product of this research is a Joyful Edublog based Pedagogical Chemistry Knowledge (PChK) in chemical bonding matter for student SMA/MA. Based on rating, this blog has a good quality for teacher and a very good quality on rating for student. Based on the data, this media can be used for teacher and student as an alternative media of chemistry learning.
