UPAYA MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN KEAKTIFAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN LARI CEPAT MELALUI BERMAIN PADA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI DEMAKIJO 1 KECAMATAN GAMPING KABUPATEN SLEMAN

Abstrak

Permasalahan penelitian adalah hasil penilaian motivasi belajar Penjasorkes siswa kelas V SD
Negeri Demakijo 1 Kecamatan Gamping Kabupaten Sleman pada semester I tahun ajaran 2014/ 2015, masih belum sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan. Tujuan penelitian untuk: meningkatan motivasi dan keaktifan siswa kelas V SD Negeri Demakijo 1 Kecamatan Gamping Kabupaten Sleman dalam mengikuti pembelajaran lari cepat dengan penerapan metode bermain Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Demakijo 1 Gamping Sleman sejumlah 35 siswa. Instrumen penelitian, yaitu: lembar observasi untuk mengamati perkembangan motivasi dan keaktifan siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara peneliti bersama kolaborator merefleksi hasil observasi terhadap proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru dan siswa di lapangan. Indikator keberhasilan, yaitu: motivasi dan keaktifan siswa hasilnya meningkat dibandingkan dengan data kasus, minimal sebesar 75% siswa berada dalam kategori “Baik” dan persentase tanggapan mengenai motivasi siswa minimal sebesar 75% berada dalam kategori “Baik”.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pembelajaran lari cepat dengan pendekatan melalui bermain sudah mampu mendorong kreatifitas sebagian besar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Demakijo 1 Gamping Sleman untuk beraktivitas selama pembelajaran. (2) Hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Demakijo 1 Gamping Sleman meningkat. Terbukti dengan pendekatan bermain dalam penyampaian pembelajaran lari cepat di satu siklus, hasil belajar siswa meningkat dan telah mencapai/sesuai indikator keberhasilan pembelajaran. Perkembangan pembelajaran lari cepat siswa dibandingkan saat observasi awal (data kasus) dan setelah adanya tindakan dalam siklus satu, terlihat siswa telah ada peningkatan.

Abstract

The problem of this research was the result of the assessment of the physical, sports and
health education learning motivation among the grade five students of SD Negeri Demakijo 1 of
Gamping District, Sleman Regency in the first semester in the academic year of 2014/2015, which
was not in accordance with the indicators of the success. The purposes of this research was to improve the motivation and the activeness of the grade five students of SD Negeri Demakijo 1 of Gamping District, Sleman Regency in joining sprint learning process through the implementation of playing method. This research belongs to Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were the grade five students of SD Negeri Demakijo 1 of Gamping District, Sleman Regency. They were 35 students. The instrument of this research was observation sheet to observe the progress of students’ motivation and activeness. The data was analyzed by the researcher and the collaborator who reflected the result of observation of the learning process that had done by the teacher and students in the field. The indicators of the success were; motivation and activeness of the students are improving rather than the data case, at least, there are 75% of the students are categorized “good” and the percentage of the responses about students’ motivation are 75% that are categorized “good”. The result of this research showed that; (1) sprint learning process through playing approach could improve the creativity of most of the students of grade grade five students of SD Negeri Demakijo 1 of Gamping Upaya Meningkatkan Motivasi dan....(Endang Yuliani) 2
District, Sleman Regency to do activity during the learning process. (2) the result of the study of the
grade five students of SD Negeri Demakijo 1 of Gamping District, Sleman Regency was improving. It
was proved by the playing approach in delivering sprint learning process on one cycle, there was
improvement and it reached and in accordance with the indicators of the learning success. The
improvement of the sprint learning process of the students compared with the early observation (case data) and after the measurement in on cycle showed that the students’ motivation and activeness were improved.
