IDENTIFIKASI KESULITAN MENGEMBANGKAN KREATIVITAS MEMBUAT DESAIN BUSANA SISWA KELAS XI TATA BUSANA SMK N 2 TEMANGGUNG

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi kesulitan mengembangkan kreativitas dalam membuat desain busana, (2) mengidentifikasi kesulitan mengembangkan  kreativitas dalam membuat desain busana dilihat dari aspek: (a) kelancaran berfikir (b) kelenturan, (c) kerincian, dan (d) orisinalitas. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah semua Siswa Kelas XI Program Keahlian Tata Busana SMK N 2 Temanggung sebanyak 64 siswa. Penentuan sampel menggunakan probability sampling dengan teknik jenuh sehingga diperoleh 64 sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, unjuk kerja (tes proyektif) dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data deskriptif dengan prosentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kesulitan mengembangkan kreativitas siswa dalam membuat desain busana dalam kategori sulit, (2) kesulitan mengembangkan kreativitas siswa ditinjau dari aspek: (a) kelancaran mencapai 50% dengan kategori sangat sulit, (b) kelenturan mencapai 75% dengan kategori sangat sulit, (c) kerincian mencapai 76,6% dengan kategori sangat sulit, dan (d) orisinalitas 53,1% dengan kategori sangat sulit. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi kesulitan mengembangkan kreativitas siswa dalam membuat desain busana termasuk dalam kategori sulit, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kreativitas yang dimiliki oleh siswa kelas XI Tata Busana SMK N 2 Temanggung belum mencapai tingkat kreatif.

Abstract

The aims of this study are (1) to investigate the difficulties in developing students’ creativity to make fashion designs, (2) to investigate the difficulties in developing students’ creativity to make fashion designs in terms of some aspects: (a) fluency of thinking, (b) flexibility, (c) elaboration, and (d) originality. This was a descriptive design. The research population comprised all Grade XI students of the Fashion Designing Expertise Program at SMKN 2 Temanggung with a total of 64 students. The sample, consisting of 64 students, was selected by the saturated sampling technique belonging to probability sampling. The data were collected through observations, a performance test (projective test), and interviews. They were analyzed by means of the descriptive technique using percentages. The results of the study were as follows. (1) Difficulties to develop students’ creativity in creating fashion design were in the hard category; (2) Difficulties to develop students’ creativity in terms of criteria for aspect: (a) the fluency attained 50% in the very hard category, (b) the flexibility attained 75% in the very hard category, (c) the elaboration attained 76.6% in the very hard category, and (d) the originality attained 53.1% in the very hard category. Based on the resul of identification of difficuleties to develop creativity to make fashion designs this study showed in less creative category, it can be conclude that the creativity of all Grade XI students of the Fashion Design Expertise Program at SMKN 2 Temanggung did not attain creative level yet.
