KARAKTERISTIK PROSES PEMBELAJARAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA BAHASA JERMAN DI MAN YOGYAKARTA II

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan karakteristik proses pembelajaran keterampilan bahasa Jerman di MAN Yogyakarta II yang meliputi komponen pembelajaran: (1) tujuan pembelajaran, (2) materi, (3) metode, (4) media, (5) guru, (6) peserta didik, (7) sarana dan prasarana, dan (8) evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang datanya diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (a) Karakteristik proses pembelajaran keterampilan membaca menunjukkan guru kurang mengoptimalkan silabus dan RRP, (1) tujuan pembelajaran untuk mensukseskan bahasa Jerman dalam Ujian Nasional, (2) materi bersumber dari Kontakte Deutsch1- 3, Themen Neu1, dan Deutschist einfach, (3) metode yang dipakai latihan soal, tanya-jawab, dan ceramah, (4) media yang digunakan elektronik dan cetak, (5) peserta didik mempunyai minat yang baik, (6) sarana buku bahasa Jerman di perpustakaan masih dalam jumlah yang sedikit, dan (7) bentuk evaluasi antara lain pilihan ganda dan essay; (b) Hambatan terletak pada peserta didik dan sarana; (c) Usaha yang dilakukan guru melalui pendekatan langsung dan memberikan sumber materi penunjang dalam sarana.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the characteristic of learning process ofthe German reading skill in MAN Yogyakarta II that includes the learning components: (1) learning objective, (2) learning content, (3) method, (4) media, (5) teacher, (6) students, (7) instrument and infrastructure, and (8) evaluation. This research used descriptive qualitative method which the data were collected from observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The results of this study are (a) The characteristic of learning process on reading skill for German language shows the teacher has been not optimal in using syllabus and lesson plan, (1) the learning objective is succeeding German language in National Final Examination, (2) the contents are fromKontakte Deutsch 1- 3, Themen Neu 1, and Deutsch ist einfach, (3) the methods that are used are exercises, question-answer, and lecturing, (4) the media used electronic and printed, (5) the students have a good interest to study, (6) the instrument of German books in library are still few, and (7) the forms of evaluation are multiple choice and essay; (b) The obstacles are on the students and the instruments; (c) The efforts that was conducted by the teacher are direct approach and gave additional instrument for learning content via internet.
