PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI MATA PELAJARAN DASAR POLADENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPESTUDENTTEAM ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipelaksanaanpembelajaran menggunakanmodelpembelajaran  KooperatiftipeSTADdanuntuk mengetahui peningkatan kompetensi mata pelajaran dasarpola menggunakanmodel pembelajaran kooperatif tipe  STAD di SMK Islam Moyudan. Penelitian inimerupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan desain penelitian dari Kemmis & Mc. Taggart . Penelitiandilaksanakan di SMK Islam Moyudan, dengan subjek penelitiankelas X Tata  Busana 1. Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan tes, dan observasi. Instrumen yang digunakan instrumentes kognitif,tesperbuatan, lembar pedomanpengamatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar pengamatan sikap.Teknikanalisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa:1)pelaksanaan pembelajaran dasar pola pada pra siklus terlihat siswacenderung pasif, sebagian besar siswatidak fokus,sehingga pemahaman  terhadap materi belum  maksimal.Pelaksanaanpembelajaran  pada siklusIterlaksana dengan baik sesuaikategoriketerlaksaan pembelajaran mencapai presentase antara62,6-87,5,siswa dapat lebih  fokus , sebagian besar siswa aktif. Pada siklus II pembelajaran dasar polaterlaksanadengan sangat baiksesuaikategoriketerlaksaan pembelajaran mencapai presentase antara87,6-100, siswalebih fokus,dapatbekerjasama dengan baik,siswa aktif.2)Hasil kompetensi pada pra siklusmenunjukan 3siswa atau 20% siswa dapat mencapaikategorituntasdan 12 siswa atau 80% siswamencapai kategoribelumtuntas; pada siklus I7 siswaatau 46,67% siswa dapatmencapaikategorituntasdan 8 siswa atau 53,33%siswamencapai kategoribelumtuntas; pada siklus IIseluruh siswa (100%) dapatmencapai kategorituntas.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran koopertif tipeStudent TeamAchievement Divisiondapat meningkatkan kompetensimata pelajarandasar poladi SMK Islam Moyudan.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the learning implementation through the cooperative learning of theSTAD type and to investigate the improvement of the competency in the design basics subject through thecooperative learning of the STAD type at SMK Islam Moyudan. This was a classroom action research studyemploying the research design by Kemmis & McTaggart. The study was conducted at SMK Islam Moyudan,involving the research subjects who were Grade X students of Fashion Design 1. The data were collectedthrough tests and observations. The instruments included a cognitive test instrument, a performance test, anobservation sheet for learning implementation, and an observation sheet for attitudes. The data in the studywere analyzed by means of the descriptive technique. The results of the study were as follows. 1) In theimplementation of the learning of design basics in the pre-cycle, the students tended to be passive and mostofthem were not focused so that their understanding of materials was not maximal. The learning in Cycle Iwas well implemented in accordance with the implementation category attaining percentages ranging from62.6 to 87.5, the students were more focused, and most of them were active. In Cycle II, the learning ofdesign basics was well implemented in accordance with the implementation category attaining percentagesranging from 87.6 to 100, the students were more focused, able to cooperate well, and active. 2) The resultsof the competency in the pre-cycle showed that 3 students or 20% were able to attain the mastery categoryand 12 students or 80% did not attain the mastery category. In Cycle I, 7 students or 46.67% were able toattain the mastery category and 8 students or 53.33% did not attain the mastery category. In Cycle II, allstudents (100%) were able to attain the mastery category. Therefore, it could be concluded that thecooperative learning model of the Student Team Achievement Division type was capable of improving thecompetency in the design basics subject at SMK Islam Moyudan.
