PELAKSANAAN PENILAIAN OTENTIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SMP

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan penilaian
otentik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP. Deskripsi pelasanaan
penilaian otentik meliputi deskripsi pelaksanaan penilaian otentik, model
penilaian otentik yang digunakan, kendala yang didapat guru dalam pelaksanaan
penilaian otentik, dan upaya yang dilakukan guru untuk mengatasi kendala
pekasanaan penilaian otentik.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Desain yang digunakan
dalam penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional survey. Populasi dan sampel penelitian
ini adalah semua guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 2
Ngemplak. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, pengamatan, dan analisis
dokumen. Data-data tersebut dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif melalui
empat tahap, yaitu: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan
kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui proses triangulasi data.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa semua guru telah melaksanakan
penilaian otentik dengan menggunakan berbagai macam model, yakni: penilaian
kinerja, wawancara, penceritaan kembali teks atau cerita, portofolio, proyek,
penilaian diri, dan penilaian sejawat. Hal tersebut ditunjukan melalui data
kualitatif yang berupa fakta-fakta di lapangan. Namun, pelaksanaan penilaian
otentik kurang maksimal. Guru masih mengalami kendala-kendala dalam
pelaksanaan penilaian otentik. Kendalanya yaitu keterbatasan waktu dan peserta
didik. Akan tetapi, guru berusaha melakukan usaha untuk mengatasi kendala-
kendala tersebut. Para guru berusaha melakukan penilaian otentik dengan lebih
baik.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the implementation of the
authentic assessment in Indonesian language teaching and learning in SMP Negeri
2 Ngemplak. The description of the implementation of the authentic assessment
includes the description of the implementation of authentic assessment, the model
of the authentic assessment used, the obstacles that the teachers found in
implementing the authentic assessment, and the efforts done by the teachers to
overcome the obstacles of the implementation of the authentic assessment.
This study was qualitative. The design used in this study was cross-
sectional survey. The population and the sample of this study were all teachers of
Indonesian language subject in SMP Negeri 2 Ngemplak. The data was collected
through interviews, observation, and the analysis of documents. The data was
analyzed using analysis technique of qualitative data which consists of four
stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The
validity of the data was obtained through triangulation.
The result of the study showed that all teachers implemented the authentic
assessment using various models. They were: work assessment, interviews, re-
telling texts or stories, portfolio, project of self-assessment, and peer-assessment.
It was shown from the qualitative data which was in the form of the facts found in
the field. However, the authentic assessment was not implemented maximally.
The teachers still experienced obstacles during the implementation of the
authentic assessment. The obstacles were limited time and the students. Yet, the
teachers tried to overcome the obstacles. They attempted to implement the
authentic assessment better.
