EVALUASI PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM CERDAS ISTIMEWA (CI) AKSELERASI DI SMA NEGERI 5 YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program CI (akselerasi) di SMAN 5 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluatif menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) komponen pelaksanaan program; (a) konteks: latar belakang program mengacu pada KTSP, tujuan program belum didukung oleh sumber daya yang memadai, (b)  masukan: identifikasi siswa dilaksanakan melalui seleksi, guru CI masih ada yang belum memenuhi kriteria, KTSP kurang tepat diterapkan pada siswa CI, sarana prasarana pembelajaran belum memadai, pembiayaan sudah memenuhi kebutuhan, BK belum mampu menangani siswa secara khusus, (c) proses: kegiatan pembelajaran dan supervisi dilaksanakan dengan baik, sedangkan kegiatan evaluasi belum dilaksanakan secara sistematis, (d) hasil: hasil UN dan serapan masuk PTN sudah cukup memuaskan, sedangkan kualitas lulusan menurun dari tahun sebelumnya. (2) permasalahan pelaksanaan program: kedewasaan siswa CI masih rendah, proses sosialisasi siswa di sekolah masih kurang, dan kondisi psikologis siswa CI berbeda dengan siswa reguler.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the CI (acceleration) program  of Public Senior High School 5 Yogyakarta. This research belongs to evaluate research that uses descriptive analysis. The writer collects the data by doing interview, observation, and documentation methods. This research has some results. They are: (1) Components of the programme; (1) context: the background of implementation program uses School Based Curriculum (KTSP), the purposes of this programm are still not supported because it has limited tools, (2) input: this program recruits the students by selection process, some of the teachers have no skill doing CI program, KTSP curriculum is not appropriate for this program, it has few tools but enough cost, the counselor does not give special treatment for the students, (3) process: this learning activity and the supervision of this program have done well, meanwhile the evaluation activity does not work systematically, (4) result: has a high-grade of National Examination (UN), most of the students are approved in State Universities (PTN) while the quality of the graduation decreases year by year. (2) The problems of the program; CI students are low-adulthood, less the process of students’ socialitazation, and the psychological CI students are different.
